Drawing Thread

Just wondering how you guys draw, is it by eye, mind, or just doodle.

I like to train my eye alot by drawing from real life, after a good understanding of how things are made up (break things down into simple shapes) and how light works on objects i pretty much let my mind run wild with ideas.

hmm... I dont' do a lot of life drawing these days- but I do have a degree in animation and a diploma in art, which is hundreds of life-drawing hours under my belt...
It is an important skill- if I was making a living off my media skills again then I would be doing a lot more life drawing.

I just dont want to loose that ability to draw from life.

Well I have a degree in Printmaking so , ha, we should make something together, i like the idea of working with other people it makes it more fun, and the work will look like something you have never done before due to the other persons influence, i found that out in uni, other peoples work does help your own work.

not much, Im in the process of getting some silk screens, and a frame, id love to buy and old woodcut press, wood cuts are awsome since its pretty cheap.

In printmaking in uni i kind of used alot of photoshop + drawing, i was lazy as fuck, but i do know how to use some cool processes:

• Drypoint
  
• Etching (in Acid)
  
• Lithography
  
• Serigraph (screen)
  
• Photolitho
  
• & Woodcut.

Id love to have a print workshop but at the mo all i have is a desk which is coverd in paper and ink!

A good logo should be totally illegible, that way only the trvest of kvltists will know what shit is called.....

now i get you, i thought it was some sarcy comment that you couldnt read it, If you think of a better one, email it me so i can put it on there, Im not to sure if i can put banners on, or how big the logo can be on the top, will experiment with it tonight.

also what do you think about a back ground pic??? SDK collective imput needed!
