Weekend

So whats everyone up to, im gonna have a quiet one and play Call of Duty 3.

anyone out on Sat or even tonight, anything on?

I'm going to see NoFit State Circus in Newport tonight. I used to work for them a few years ago and I can thouroughly recommend their shows. It's a proper tented circus, although there's no animals, red noses or seats. Nor is there any kind of "and now here is a trapeze act!" structure to it, you walk around the (flying saucer shaped) big top and the action unfolds "around you, above you, below you and within you".

There's a fully liscensed bar in the tent, too. It has many fine bottled ciders and ales.

I don't know of any (local gigs) happening so wont be going too far

I had a pretty good weekend, went bowling, drank some bourbon, found loads of tracks tim my comp that i thought i had lost the pick of which was: moss + wolfmangler - protected by the ejaculation of wolves.

plus went for a bad ass walk around the hills early(ish) this morning.

I went to the car boot and got one of THESE for 2 quid.
Seems they go for 150-200. could make a tidy return on that.

I cant decide for now... I have a lot of fuzz and distortion already.. but this is form like 1973 and is a piece of history...

My week(end) was pretty rad, went on a 3 hour bike ride (including said park mentioned a few posts up) but knackered my back wheel. Almost sorted it now though so I'll be going for another bike ride on the weekend, possibly Llangynidr moors. Epic place for walking/cycling up there.

There's a tattoo convention in Newport this weekend which I was tempted to go to, but it's £12 to get in! I think I'll just be home watching shit TV and playing XBOX.

I live in a small town called Tredegar, but the place I mentioned is along this stretch (yellow line saying Llangynidr rd.
There's loads of bike trails to go on around this area, like from a place called Trefil (where they filmed some of hitchhikers guide to the galaxy!) over the mountains to Crickhowell area, plenty of stuff like downhill,rough,quiet bike rides <333

Anyway, I'm off out now for a bike ride now the sun is shining a little. chiao!

i think so. gonna hit the beers in the fridge in a minute. there's a rock bar, Fuel, opening another place in the old whispers/club with no name venue. might be half a laugh. might not tho. might not even leave the house. i should check my phone but im addicted to bathtub shitter and unreal tournament and cant move.

Did you go? What did you think? They weren't 100%, there was a vicious stomach virus going around which took out the head rigger (hence no awesome human counterweight action) and then the night you went, his girlfriend (hence no awesome airial hoop action/reduced corde lisse action).

Still a great show, though. The new contrabassist pissed all over my meagre skillz; German wheels flying around all over the place and the tightrope babe rolling a smoke on the wire, in high heels were highlights for me. I think they're in Brecon later this year, SDK road trip, anyone?

I loved it! as did my girlfirend Caroline, Kaskie and his girl Nicole.
I'd be well up for seeing it again in Brecon (a much nicer location that tredegar park)

wasnt there a circus on this weekend? I know my kids whent o see something with there grandmother, hope i didnt miss the one in Brecon.
